Another of my university art-course efforts, but this one’s a copy, from Hyman Bloom’s “Old Woman Dreaming”. I just saw the picture in a book and went at it with charcoal, and it wasn’t until this here blog came along that I made the effort to find out who the hell Hyman Bloom is. Click the image to see it full size. See the rest.

“You can really get involved with Dali’s art,” I said to the wife the other day. Then I turned around to find her gone, and I was alone – almost – in a train station in the middle of nowhere. I checked the clock on the wall and realised I was a full year early for “The Persistence of Memory”, yet here was a soft watch already in use, in 1930! The scene was “Premature Ossification of a Railway Station”, and I had no way of getting home … unless my old friend Hyman Bloom showed up!

More freaky fun from the Fractal Farm. No, I can’t figure out the title either.
