The elephant being revered in the Kingdom of Thailand, seeing this cloud over a northern temple that has a chedi adorned with pachyderm statuary sort of takes one’s breath away. Interestingly, a Thai artist who specialises in painting elephants has a show on this month in Bangkok called “Fly with Me?” Perhaps we should take him up on the offer.
