Turner does Towneley, fancies cows

Well, bless his cotton socks! JMW Turner’s been round our Burnley and done a fine painting of Towneley Hall. You can tell because it’s called “Towneley Hall”. It does look quite a bit like it too. Apparently England’s biggest Romantic took a shine to Lancashire’s biggest spook house and whipped up this watercolour in 1798. Lovely. Not one of his best by a long shot, but lovely. Look at that pair of rustics goofing off under the tree, And the cows. See the rest.

Ach, mein eyes!

That’s right: there are no dots. Well, don’t look if it gives you a headache. Okay? But seriously, what’s the speed of dark?

“Cosmic Cabbage”

Another wonderful world tossed off with aplomb by the clever gods at the Fractal Farm. Pop quiz for bonus points: How much deeper would the ocean be without sponges?
