Alice in the Dali House
While thumbing through some Victorian art e-museums I came across the above version of the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party from “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland” by one of my favourite illustrators, Arthur Rackham.
I stowed it on one side intending to search for his more famous paintings for Hans Christian Andersen’s fairytales, and then, sure enough, Salvador Dali had to poke his head in. See the rest.
