Dali Planet #173: Espace Montmartre
Dali Paris, Espace Montmartre, is an underground gallery and museum that sells a wide range of his sculptures and engravings, 300 works in all and many with commentaries, and hosts tour groups as well as exhibitions by living artists.
Shown above is “The Dream of Ezechiel”, one of 100 watercolours that Dali did in 1964 to illustrate his own version of the Bible. Some of the images were created using a technique he called “bulletism” — he loaded an antique arquebus with ink-filled capsules and fired them at blank sheets of paper, then incorporated the splatter into his design.
