Dali Planet #181: Museo de Cadaques
The Museo de Cadaques on Carrer de Narcis Monturiol displays rotating art exhibits, many including works by Dali, though which ones is not clear. Shown here, along with a photo of Dali painting a bird figurine, is “The Harmony of the Spheres” from 1978.

I cant find any info but I presume “The Harmony of the Spheres” is designed to be looked at cross eyed so the figures merge into one and the spheres become three dimensional. Is this true?
Not sure either, Suhiko, but I think most if not all of Dali’s stereograms relied on special glasses. There’s a photo of him peering at one of his creations through a floor-mounted optical device. I never have much success “relaxing” my eyes enough to see images that DON’T require the specs, but many other people have no problem. Test your skills at this Demonicious page.
You have a nice website that others should see : Musings of a Down and Out Artist.
Yes, thats exactly the effect I meant, I can actually do those ones but I guess the eyes dont need to move as far as they would to merge the two figures in the spheres painting. Great blog you have here.
